Under the Vegetable Oil Products Production and Availability (Regulation) Amendment Order, 2025 effective from 1st August 2025 only manufacturers of vegetable oils and related products are required to register with the Directorate of Sugar and Vegetable Oils through NSWS Portal. Any producer intending to manufacture, stock, or sell vegetable oil, vegetable oil products, solvent extracted oil, or blended oils must apply to the Director as outlined in Schedule I and obtain a registration certificate as per Schedule II.
